When entryways are pulled together + have a little wow factor, it will make your guests excited to see what the rest of the house will hold. It’s almost a teaser of sorts — and I wanted my entryway to make people excited to see what the rest of my home looked like. So here’s what I did to upgrade my entryway and hopefully it will provide some ideas and inspiration for you if you’re looking to upgrade yours.

There are many reasons why I love the new year, but one of the main reason’s is that it just feels like a new beginning, a fresh start. One of the other reasons I love the new year is celebrating on New Year’s Eve! It’s February + you know what that means, it’s Black History Month! And even though around here we do black history 365, this month is a great moment for the collective to reflect on the many + amazing contributions of Black Americans + to remember those who have paved a way for me…and YOU.

I’m so excited to share this project, because it was truly a joy to do. I saw this room transform from what was essentially a guest room/storage room to an organized, functional + beautiful office space.
